Since releasing our Organic Colour-Solid I in 1999, Ikeuchitowel: The Earth is protected by the wind has become a trusted source for organic towels.This series is the culmination of our many years of experience with organic materials.

* The towels are made from 100% organically cultivated cotton, grown without the use of any harmful defoliants, as identified by Krav and Bio-Inspecta.

* The raw cotton used in this series is raised only in designated farmlands, and woven only in designated cotton spinning mills-bringing you organically cultivated cotton produced under the tightest of regulations.

* We avoid the use of chlorine bleach and other eco-harmful chemical materials in our dyes, and none of our dyes contain heavy metals.

* The finishing process uses pure water from Japan’s Mt. Ishizuchi.

* As a result of our careful production environment, the Organic Colour-Solid series has received class-1 approval from the Öko-Tex, Switzerland, so that the products are considered safe should they come in contact with infants’ mouths.

* We use ozone bleach for our bleaching, for a softer and more eco-friendly finish.
