Ikeuchitowel is happy to present two new lines of organic cotton and bamboo towels for 2006. Both series are recognized by LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability).
At Ikeuchitowel we strive to merge contemporary design, safety, and affordability in our lineup of towel products. In this way, our products differ from other conservative environmental products, which often seem to sacrifice function and design for environmental claims.
All of our new products meet Switzerlandfs Class-1 Öko-Tex Safety Approval, which means they are safe for infantsf mouths. These new lines fastidiously maintain the same level of safety as our Organic & Bamboo Color Solid series.
Since 1999, we have been proponents of low-impact dyes for their safe materials and eco-friendliness. Low-impact dyes have attracted a lot of attention in Japan recently due to the spread of LOHAS, and they have been a growing trend among environmental commodities in Europe and America.
Our pile threads are made of Toray bamboo fiber (Soutake) with its characteristic high absorbency. We use organic cotton for our KRAV-approved weft and the warp. Our towels maximize the natural luster of bamboo, and have incorporated a feminine and beautiful gradation of colour. With twice the water absorbency as cotton, our customers report that they do not even need to use a dryer on their hair after drying it with our bamboo fiber towels.
