In Feb 1999, we became the first ISO-14001 approved company in the towel industry. Likewise, in Feb 2000, we acquired the approval of ISO-9001 for the first company in the industry. Since then, we have operated quality control and environmental management under both of ISO-system as the only one company in the industry.
In the days ahead, we will manage our system by one’s company’s stricter standards and declare the graduation from ISO-9001, ISO-14001 on 28 Feb 2010.

In business, it is very important for a smaller enterprise like Ikeuchi Towel to differentiate our company and products from those of our competitors. In this regard, ISO has provided us with an optimal system and a new direction for our business operations.
For the past few years, we've been working to develop an information sharing system at the internal level, and have expanded the system to the business partner level by implementing QR (Quick Response system).

Becoming the first ISO approved company in the industry impacted our company in some unexpected ways. By attending an environmental conference, which we were requested to attend as the first ISO approved company in the industry, we realized the shameful reality of our lack of environmental awareness. This realization led us to fundamentally change our business operation. Market demand is increasingly in line with both product quality and eco-friendliness. With our ISO9001 approval, our corporate direction has been set.
